Terms & Conditions 2009

On acceptance of menu choice & quotation a signed copy of both the quote and the terms & conditions must be returned to Wine and Dine at Home, with a deposit of 20% to secure your booking.

Wine and Dine at Home has the right to change or replace any item of food that becomes unavailable or is out of season with a suitable alternative. You will be consulted of any changes to the menu in advance of your booking date.

Payment Terms:

i)   20% deposit to confirm booking of Wine and Dine at Home services (non-refundable)

ii)  50% payable 10 weeks before function date

iii) 30% final balance due on day of function

If you book & confirm within the timescales above the relevant payment terms apply.

Payment can be made by personal cheque, with appropriate card details, business cheque or bankers draft or cash.

The final guaranteed number of guests must be confirmed 7 days before the event. We will then send you out a final invoice for the balance, less the 70% already paid.

Bookings are only confirmed once a deposit of 20% is paid.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations must be made in writing to Wine and Dine at Home.

Cancellation charges:

  • Up to 10 days before function 100%
  • 11 days - 40 days 75%
  • 40+ days 50%

Wine and Dine at Home does not accept any liability for non-completion of the event/function or for delays resulting from adverse weather conditions, traffic accident or road closure. Civil riots or strikes affecting the trade, fire, flood or other natural disaster, acts of terrorism, or for any other event, which is beyond Wine and Dine at Home's reasonable control.

This agreement shall be governed by English law and subject to the sole jurisdiction of the English courts.
